As an event coordinator for Planned With, I had the incredible opportunity to support Collide Capital, a New York-based venture firm, in hosting their 3rd annual "Collide & Connect" community celebration during AfroTech in Houston. We were tasked with planning their exclusive after-party, designed to foster networking and celebration among attendees. My role spanned a wide range of responsibilities, including venue research, brainstorming activation ideas for sponsors, providing creative direction, and designing all the event's graphics. This experience allowed me to combine my creativity and strategic thinking to deliver an impactful and memorable event.
