GRAPHIC DESIGN COURSE

In my Introduction to Graphic Design class, I worked on three big projects: a print poster for an organization of interest, a magazine layout, and a website prototype of the magazine.

For my first project I designed a print poster for the Autism Speaks organization. The poster was meant to advertise their walk for autism happening. I also took that print ad and turned it into a GIF.

For my magazine project, I made a magazine for events and focused on the modern-day picnics we see all over social media today as I am a fan of picnics. I played with hierarchy, and it was my first time illustrating a full picture on Adobe Illustrator.

My final project required me to us Adobe XD to design a UX/UI website for the magazine I designed. To add a fun element, I built out a quiz similar to the Buzzfeed quizzes to give users a recommendation for the theme of their picnic or event.
